Thomas C, Ahrens, 70 years old, of Morton Grove, beloved father of Thomas Jr. (Margaret), Kristopher and Gretchen (Donald) Kleppin; loving grandfather of Thomas III; former husband of Karen Anderson; brother of the late Diane Harloff. He was the former owner of Ahrens Mechanical Service in Skokie. Memorial visitation will be on Saturday Sept. 2nd at Simkins Funeral Home 6251 Dempster St. Morton Grove from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m.
