Rev. Robert “Bobby” J. Morse, Jr., 64, of Morton Grove, Illinois, passed away peacefully Friday, June 25, 2021 surrounded by family. Bobby was born January 19, 1957 at Fort Belvoir Army base in Virginia to Robert and Brunhilde Morse.
Being the child of his Army SFC Father, they moved to many places around the world during his childhood before settling in Killeen, TX, where he met the love of his life.
He spent his life fervently serving the New Apostolic Church as a lay minister and project manager. Bobby traveled to Mexico and Kenya as a missionary for over 24 years. He had dreams of returning to Kenya again in retirement.
Bobby was an avid sports fan who loved his Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. Everyone who knew Bobby, knew, you don’t mess with Texas. He was loved by many and easily made new friends. He will be fondly remembered for his boisterous voice and hearty laugh.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert Morse, Sr., and sister, Eugina Morse. He leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Carmen; sons Michael and Jason (Nicole). He is also survived by his mother, Brunhilde Morse, siblings Gary (Mirta), Roger, Karen, Kevin (Kimberly), and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at New Apostolic Church Chicago Metro Church 430 N. Addison Rd. Addison, IL 60101 on Saturday, July 10th from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment private.
