Elena (Atmosfera) Okon, born in Abra, Philippines and longtime resident of Morton Grove, IL; passed away on Sept. 20, 2021; preceded in eternal peace by her beloved husband Leonard P. Okon and her parents Eulalio and Gliceria (Aborje) Atmosfera; dear mother of Lisa (Dan) Lowndes, Michael Okon and David (Maria) Okon; loving grandmother of Lily, Max, Kayleigh and Landon; fond sister of Filomena (Atmosfera) Amate, the late Ireneo Atmosfera and the late Dominga (Atmosfera) Dandallo. The family is currently very limited in our ability to invite others to pay their respects at this time, but there will be an opportunity to do so once it is safe for family and friends to gather.
