Johanson Jr. of Skokie, beloved husband of Shirley; dear father of Dawn (Daniel) Carroll-Santoro, Cara (Jonathan) Vold and Carl III (Susan); loving grandfather of Daniel (Nikki), James (Brittany), Gregg (Kelly), Melissa (Michael), Carl IV (Elizabeth), Erin, Ryan, Alex (Bailey), Tommy (Emma), Kaila, and Matthew, cherished great grandfather of Grace, Rhyan, Rusty, Reese, Brynlie, Riley, McKenna, Nora and River; Fond brother of the late Shirley Warren and Donna Peterson. Visitation at Simkins Funeral Home 6251 Dempster St. Morton Grove Thursday 3 to 8 p.m. Lying in state at Cornerstone Church 2 Shermer Rd. Glenview, IL Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Entombment Acacia Park Cemetery. Carl was a proud Army veteran and worked in the cement business for many years.
