Alice M. Rupkey

November 3, 1935 ~ January 9, 2022

Alice loved and enjoyed all of her family, and friends. 

She especially enjoyed visiting her children and grandchildren traveling by train or plane, and did so until she was 82 yrs. old.

Stories of talking with strangers and finding the good in people made her happy. Her sense of humor remained to the end.

Alice was an avid reader, especially of history and mystery books. She enjoyed antiques, and tending to the the flower beds at her home of 60+ years, until 7 months ago.

She loved and appreciated her neighbor friends; Barb, Tom, Arnie, and many others.

She also cherished her friends at the Morton Grove Park District where she worked for 12 years. Alice was passionate about attending Morton Grove Commission on Aging meetings, and hoped to make a difference for the good of the elderly.

She is survived by her three children: John (Terri), Karen (Lamar), Steve (Donna) and her seven grandchildren; Hannah, Samantha, Paul, Elizabeth, Doug, Jessica, Jedson.

On of “Mom, Grandma, ChaCha, Grancracker, Grandma ChooChoo, Aunt Alice, Cousin Alice, and Alice, she wanted these following words to be written to you, “Thank you for your Love.”
