Obituary

William "Bill" Archer, 71, passed away on September 7th, beloved husband of Suzanne, nee Jacobs; loving father of Blake and the late Myles; fond brother of Lyle "Chip" (Roxanne) and James "Jim" (Patty). A Celebration of Life will be held at Parkview Community Church 764 St. Charles Rd. Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 on Saturday, October 19th from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. For over 5 decades, Bill Archer was a legend in Chicago's music and sports world. Bill was a gifted drummer, leader of Bill Archer's Big Bear Band at Soldier Field, and the Musical Director for the Chicago Bulls. His production companies produced shows for his hometown of Morton Grove, Jake and Elwood's Band, Big Fun, and countless special events.
