Obituary

Tracey Lynn Giegerich was born on July 2, 1961 and died unexpectedly July 10, 2015. She will be missed dearly!

Tracey is the beloved daughter of Janet Giegerich and the late Jack Giegerich, and sister to Sharon Fenton, Scott Giegerich, and Jill Smith.

"Aunt Tracey," as she was so affectionately referred to, lived a full and adventurous life. She traveled all over the world with her equally adventurous mother, Janet, during which she became an art aficionado. Aunt Tracey adored and spoiled her 8 nieces and nephews as well as many others with whom she maintained a tight bond.

Tracey had the innate ability to synthesize all that she learned and apply it effectively to reach impressive goals. Her co-workers appreciated her talents, her sense of humor, and her zeal for life. Reared by two great role models for parents, they instilled in her a drive to always do her best. Tracey made her family proud!

Tracey was both a participant and fan of sports. She was and avid golfer and swam competitively. In addition, she was a true UConn Husky fan. She celebrated every championship as if she were in the student cheering section!

Miss Giegerich is survived by her mother: Janet Giegerich; her three siblings: Sharon Fenton, Scott Giegerich, and Jill Smith; her brother-in-law: Bill Fenton; her sister-in-law: Joanne Giegerich; and her nieces and nephews: Samantha Andino (and her husband Isaac and their children: Landon and Aubrey), Kasey Fenton, Chelsie, Alyssa, and Jack Thomas Giegerich, and Katie, Jake, and Jacqui Smith. She was predeceased by her father, Jack Giegerich, whom she will join forevermore!

Services and interment will be held privately. (847) 965-2500
