Shirlie Frances Sorensen, nee Hilmes, formerly of Park Ridge, beloved wife of the late Viggo; loving mother of Vicki (Steven) Niems, Julie Sorensen and Ken Sorensen; dear grandmother of Brian Niems, Jaymi Niems, Taylor (Robert) Lehr, Bradley Sheehan and Jack Sorensen; cherished great grandmother of Brooks Lehr.  Shirlie passed away at the age of 92 and will be missed by all those fortunate to have known her. Family and friends will meet at Ridgewood Cemetery Chapel 9900 Milwaukee Ave. Des Plaines, IL on Tuesday May 28th for 10:30 service.
