Paula LaBree, long time Park Ridge resident, passed away on August 19th, 2022 after more than 40 years of battling cancer. Born on October 24th, 1954 in Chicago, Paula attended Sayre High School and Northeastern University.

Professionally, Paula was the six-year recipient of the Five Star Professional Award from Chicago Magazine and consistently ranked in the top 1% of Realtors, nationwide. She helped pioneer the team approach to real estate and grew The Concept One Real Estate Development Team to include the rehabbing and expansion of homes with Donna Mundzic and Joanne Masters-Giannini.

Paula was a loving mother to two children, Jessica and Joseph. She managed a demanding career and life-threatening illness all while creating a caring and nurturing home for her children-and all friends and family that came into her life and were greeted with her open arms. To know Paula, was to feel welcomed by her. She had an optimistic and cheerful spirit that touched anyone who knew her. And when the cancer returned, as it always did, she fought like a warrior. But her light never dimmed, and her spirit never wavered.

She will be missed by her children, Jessy and Joey and her daughter in law, Carolyn. And her beloved family and dear friends, Carla, Danielle, Martin, Maureen, Dominick, Dina, Patti and countless others.
