Michael J. "Mick" Kroll, 80, father of Lisa (Peter) Steinam and Michael V. (Margaret); grandfather of Carla (Harley) Siddall, Peter Steinam, Matthew Steinam, Sean Kroll, Jennifer Kroll, Danielle Strickler, and Tyler Kroll; beloved son of the late Michael V. and Wanda, nee Kubicz; great grandfather, uncle, and cousin of many; brother of Susan (Michael) Anderson and the late Rosalie (Brian) Hancock and Sandra (Radford) Keith. During his life, Mick lived in  Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, and Texas. He held numerous jobs, and was known for his ability to fix almost anything.  He hand made the beautiful Easter cross for St. Martha's Church. He worked there for a short period of time prior to moving to Texas. He had many friends at Alcoholics Anonymous. His last residence was in Carol Stream, Illinois. There will be a memorial visitation and memorial mass at St. Martha Church 8523 Georgiana Ave. Morton Grove, IL 60053 at some date in the future. (847) 965-2500
