It is with deep sorrow that the family of Maria Domenica "Mary" Dal Corobbo, 89, announces her passing on March 9, 2026, in Glenview, IL.

Mary was a resident of Morton Grove for nearly all her life. Most recently, she resided at the Belmont Village Senior Living home in Glenview.

Beloved aunt to Charles (Deborah) and John (Melissa) Dal Corobbo and great-aunt to Camden, Nolan, and Gianni Dal Corobbo. Cherished godmother to Jay Rain and "second mother" to Debra Regan, children of her dearest friend, the late Sandra Klemp.

Predeceased by her parents Battista and Albina (Munari) Dal Corobbo, brother Bruno Dal Corobbo, sister-in-law Frances Fenwick, and nephew Michael Dal Corobbo.

Following her graduation from Niles Township High School East, Mary worked for many years at the G.D. Searle pharmaceutical company in Skokie, ultimately rising to become supervisor of Searle's primate colony. After retiring, Mary volunteered at Saint Martha Church in Morton Grove, where she drew deep spiritual sustenance and formed lasting friendships. A life-long parishioner, Mary's ties to Saint Martha began with her parents' 1933 marriage in the original church.

Later in life, Mary met her soulmate Joseph Zuccollo of Morton Grove. They planned to wed, but tragically Joe passed away shortly after his mother, who he had cared for in her later years.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026. All are welcome. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 9:00-11:00 AM at Simkins Funeral Home, 6251 Dempster St., Morton Grove. A funeral mass will follow at 11:30 AM at Saint Martha Catholic Church at 8523 Georgiana Ave., Morton Grove. Interment will occur at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines at a later date.
