Lydia Wills died of natural causes on April 29, 2026, age 62. She had been a state and national prize-winning gymnast before attending Yale for a bachelor degree in art and religious studies. She was a literary agent for some firms (Janklow & Nesbit, Paradigm) before establishing her own agency (Lydia Wills LLC) with national and international best sellers. She is survived by her father, Garry Wills, brothers John and Garry Laurence (Tina) Wills, nieces Siena, Elena, and Lillian Wills, and nephew Garry Leo Wills.
