Kevin M. Wheeler, 62, of Morton Grove, beloved husband of his childhood sweetheart Sue, nee Ryan; loving father of Nick and Mike; dear son of Shirley and the late William; Fond brother of Craig (Amy), Curtis (Mary), and the late Christopher; devoted uncle of Matt, Pat, Becky, Sammy, John, Autumn, Sarah, Hannah, Eric, Nicole, Roger, Emily Mae, and Kristi; cherished great uncle of 12; adored brother in law of Laura (Tom) Schulz and Joe "Ripper" Ryan.

Kevin welcomed all to the family with open arms. He was a coach, mentor, and friend to many, and had a love of music, trivia, and all things sports, "Go Cubs." We will carry with us his mottos "Live it up, Kid" and "You go, Kid." Everyone knew the door was always open for those who needed a place to be.
