Obituary

June Grusin nee Morley, 85, passed away Thursday December 8, 2022. June was born June 3, 1937 to William and Elaine Morley nee Zbytowski in Alpena, Michigan, the oldest of eleven children. She attended Alpena High School and graduated from Montclair University in 1985.

June met her late husband of 32 years, Howard Grusin, in Upper Montclair, New Jersey.

In 1968, she began her lifetime career in the Quality Control food science field, starting in Illinois, moving to New Jersey, Florida and to Elk Grove Village, IL. During her lifetime she worked for Rival Pet Foods, Nabisco Brands and Slim Fast Foods. Apart from being a great Quality Control food scientist, June enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to go traveling and visiting her children.

June is survived by her sons; Richard Deadman and Robert (Carol) Deadman and her daughters; Karen Schram and Peggy Farley; grandchildren ; Christy (Matt) Brennan, Brian (Becky) Coleman, Megan (Tony) and Daniel Schram, Christopher and Robert Farley, Emily Deadman, Michael (Krista) Coleman and Clark (Dawn) Schram Jr.; great grandchildren: Maeve, Cormac, Lyla, Summer, Alyssa, Quinn, Aries, Kyle, Katie and numerous nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death b her husband Howard, daughter Linda Coleman, parents and siblings Geraldine, Patricia, Charlene and Chuck.

A private Celebration of Life for family and close friends will be held on Sunday December 11th. June's wishes were to be cremated and to have her cremains buried in Alpena, Michigan. Condolences may be sent to the family care of  Simkins Funeral Home 6251 Dempster St. Morton Grove, IL 60053.
