Joseph W. Buck, 86 years old, resident of Morton Grove, Illinois for 42 years, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Joseph was born December 2, 1934 in Washington, Indiana. He grew up in Bicknell, Indiana, and graduated from Bicknell High School as valedictorian in 1952. He went on to attend Indiana State Teacher's College, and then graduated from The American Institute of Banking in 1969. Joseph actually started his banking career at Gary National Bank in 1957. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Linda West Buck. Their beautiful wedding took place in November, 1959. He is also survived by three children, daughter Cindy Buck of Lake Station, Indiana, daughter Lisa (Errol) Suttlar of Portage, Indiana, and son Joseph (Karen) Buck of Cary, Illinois. He also leaves behind his four beloved grandsons, Brian McCloskey, James Allen, Jacob Buck, and Casey Suttlar. In addition, his sister Janice (Bill) Martin of Florida, and many dear to his heart nieces and nephews. Visitation at Simkins Funeral Home 6251 Dempster St. Morton Grove, IL 60053 Thursday, December 31st from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon.
