John Joseph Lyman, 90, formerly of Morton Grove, beloved husband of the late Joan; dear father of Colleen (Scott Ryan), Carey (Robert Cordes) and Margaret; cherished grandfather of Michael, Bailey and Jack; fond brother of Paul "Mickey", Dan and the late Jean Schmit, Jim, Pat Rago and Bob. Proud WW2 Navy veteran, avid golfer and lifelong Cubs fan and proud alum of Lake Forest College. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday November 4th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Simkins Funeral Home 6251 Dempster St. Morton Grove.
