Jeanette (Jan) Meyer of Morton Grove, a lifelong bachelorette; Ms. Meyer believed in Frank Sinatra's Theme song and "lived life her way." Born Dec. 10, 1928 in Manitowoc, WI. She worked her way through the Univ. of Wisconsin, Oshkosh and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education  with an English Major and Speech and History Minors. After graduation, while employed as a Speech and Drama teacher (Racine, WI), she attended the Univ. of Wisconsin, Madison four summers and was awardeda Master's Degree in Theater and Television Writing and Production. She then quit teaching and moved to Chicago and began a series of career positions in advertising. Later on she bacame President of her own company, Jan Meyer and Associates. She also served as adjunct faculty Harper College in Palatine, IL where she taught Public Speaking for a number of years. There are no services. Her ashes will be buried next to her parents in Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
