Alvarez, 100, of Wilmette, beloved husband of the late Carmen, nee Narganes and Aimee, nee Mier; loving father of Maria Alvarez, Carmen (Robert) Carlson, Ricardo (Edie) Alvarez, Ana (Ernesto) Valenzuela, and Vivian Alvarez Brennan; dear grandfather of 12; cherished great grandfather of 11. Memorial visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 1775 Grove St. Glenview, IL 60025 on Saturday, April 4th from 9:15 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl.
