A Legacy of Peace and Passion

Frank Emette Perkins III, 53, of Chicago, formerly of Glenview, beloved son of Evelyn Moore and Frank Emette Perkins; loving brother of Lisa Marie Perkins, Kellie Moore, Eric Perkins, Adinaa Perkins, Emilio Perkins, and Rico Perkins; cherished uncle of Jamella Perkins, Sariah, Eric Jr., Alainaa, Cashton, and Penelope; dear nephew of JoAnn (the late Bill), Jeanette, Fay, and Walid (the late Annette); proud cousin of Shannon, Annette, and Sammy; adored friend of the Blassie family of St. Louis.

Frank Perkins, a dedicated peacemaker and cherished advocate for youth, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of service and compassion. Known for his generosity, infectious smile, being down to earth, an amazing sense of humor, and love for his family, friends and sports. Although he avoid confrontation, he wasn't  afraid to protect and stand up for what was right. Frank was a professional with a multifaceted career in sales, nonprofit fundraising, operations management, and marketing.

Throughout his life, Frank exemplified the essence of leadership and inspiration. His professional journey was marked by his tenure as the Vice President of Advancement for Resource Development & Marketing at Casa Central Social Services Corporation. In this role, he reported directly to the President & CEO, spearheading annual fund solicitations, donor communications, and numerous fundraising campaigns. His innovative approach to marketing and his strategic vision helped raise significant funds for the organization, making a profound impact on countless lives.

Frank's ability to lead and inspire his team was unparalleled. He managed a team of eight and collaborated with various agency programs, including Early Learning Academy, Posada Transitional Housing, and Adult Wellness Center, which again is a reflection of his heart.

Frank's passion for peace and his love for youth were evident in all aspects of his life. He actively engaged with young professionals through Casa Central's Emerging Leaders Auxiliary Board (ELAB).

Beyond his professional achievements, Frank was known for his warm heart and generous spirit. He was a mentor, a friend, and a guiding light to many. His ability to bring people together and create a positive impact in the community will be remembered and cherished.

Frank Perkins leaves behind a legacy of dedication, love, and unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched.

Closed casket visitation at Simkins Funeral Home 6251 Dempster St. Morton Grove, IL 60053 on Thursday, June 13th from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Cremation private.
