Elisabeth Cavalenes, 104, of Sturtevant, WI, formerly of Morton Grove, IL, beloved wife of the late George P. Cavalenes; loving mother of Dr. Mark (the late Lynne, nee Tamara) Cavalenes, Steven P. Cavalenes, Matthew J. (Patricia) Cavalenes, Michael A. Cavalenes, George R. Cavalenes, and the late James T. Cavalenes; dear grandmother of the late Michael K. Cavalenes; fond stepsister of the late Anna (Robert) Crownover and Theresa (B.J.) Smith. Elisabeth immigrated from Witten, Germany at age 4 to Peoria, IL until her graduation from St. Francis Nursing College. She then came to Chicago where she met her husband. She then moved to Morton Grove where she raised her six children. Visitation at St. Martha's Small Church 8523 Georgiana Ave. Morton Grove, IL 60053 on Monday, October 5th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 12:00 noon.
