Elena (Atmosfera) Okon, born in Abra, Philippines and longtime resident of Morton Grove, IL; passed away on Sept. 20, 2021; preceded in eternal peace by her beloved husband Leonard P. Okon and her parents Eulalio and Gliceria (Aborje) Atmosfera; dear mother of Lisa (Dan) Lowndes, Michael Okon and David (Maria) Okon; loving grandmother of Lily, Max, Kayleigh and Landon; fond sister of Filomena (Atmosfera) Amate, the late Ireneo Atmosfera and the late Dominga (Atmosfera) Dandallo.
