Ed Crosby III, 54, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Niles on Tuesday July 11th. Devoted father of Edward Crosby IV and loving brother of Kim Crosby, also survived by his former wife Elizabeth Crosby, many close cousins: James, David, John, Tricia Shanahan, Robert, Thomas, Phillip, Karen Miller, Barrett White, Vanessa Johnson, Tony Michael, Edward Hiller and the late William White and Jason Hydzik plus nieces and nephews Robert, Cameron, Jacob, Carter, Lucas, Auston and Matylina. Preceded in death by his parents Ed and Lillian nee Hydzik. Besides his close childhood friends, Ed made many lifelong loving and caring friends through being involved in the Field School V-Show in Park Ridge. He loved his Apple computers, sketching, retouching old photos and collecting vintage beer cans. Memorial visitation will be Sunday July 30th from 11 a.m. until prayer service at 2 p.m. at Simkins Funeral Home 6251 Dempster St. Morton Grove. Private interment to follow at a later date.
