Don Gennaro De Grazia, 56, beloved husband of Siera; cherished father of Daisy Elia; dear brother of Lisa (Simon) Jackson; son of the late Donald and Virginia; uncle of Nick Jackson; nephew of Ernie (Stacey) Johnson; and cousin of Lucy Johnson. Don was a Professor of Creative Writing at Columbia College and also a writer and author. A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held at Simkins Funeral Home 6251 Dempster St. Morton Grove Saturday June 22nd from 1:00 pm when there will be a Buddhist service until a final prayer at 3:00 pm.
