Dennis G. LaLiberty, 88, of Chicago, beloved husband of the late Maureen, nee Klatt and Mary, nee Deegan; loving father of Christopher (Noelle), Nicole (George) Kallish, Andrew (Jill), and Matthew; dear grandfather of Jessica Baheza, Kevin, Colin, & Ryan LaLiberty, and Grace & Olivia LaLiberty, who were a constant source of pride and joy. A lifelong Chicagoan at heart, Dennis grew up in Chicago, and attended St. Hilary's Grade School and St. George High School in Evanston. He built a distinguished career at Wheels, Inc., where he worked for 43 years, and retired as Vice President of International Sales. His professionalism, leadership, and integrity defined his career. He lived in Morton Grove for more than 30 years, where he and Maureen raised their family, and was a parishioner at St. Martha Parish. Following her passing, Dennis moved to Sandburg Village, where he became a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish in Old Town. A devout Catholic, Dennis lived his faith through generous service to others. He was deeply involved in numerous charitable and volunteer organizations, including Misericordia, St. Angela's School, where he served on the Board, St. Vincent de Paul, Smitty's Families Charities, the Christian Brothers, and the St. George High School Alumni Association, where he also served on the Board. His commitment, generosity, and quiet leadership left a meaningful impact on each community he served. Dennis was a loyal supporter of Chicago professional sports teams and had a lifelong love of cars, golf, travel, reading, writing, and learning. Curious and thoughtful, he valued knowledge, conversation, and connection. He was a distinguished member of Park Ridge Country Club for over 30 years. Above all, Dennis was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren. His life was defined by faith, family, service, and integrity, and his legacy lives on through all who knew and loved him.
