My deepest condolences to everyone who was blessed enough to have Aunt Shirley in their lives.
I will always treasure the phone conversation we had a few years back. Shirley was full of life, authentic and oh so funny. We talked for an hour and I wasn't even the person she was calling. My Mom didn't even get a chance to say hello. I will think of Shirley often - especially in early December - Shirley's was the first Christmas card I received each year.
Shirley - say hello to my Dad, Aunt Mary and Aunt Nancy for us! Enjoy each other once again.

Shirley was kind, genuine, honest, and humble. And she had that wonderful smile. She was my oldest friend. Our history goes back to the "days" when we were both single and working at the bank together in Evanston. My prayers will be with all of her family.
