Dear Helen, I was sorry to read about Mark's passing. He was our Aflac rep for many years. It was only after a call for Aflac that I found out as it has been a while since Mark called. He was truly the only Aflac who ever talked his way into my door. I always enjoyed his visits. Blessings and prayers to you.

Dear Helen and Family:
Mark was a special man with a heart to go with it. I met Mark 11 years ago when I became the property manager of the complex. We became immediate friends and continued our friendship throughout the years. I will miss my friend and he will always be in my thoughts and prayers. He now is at peace and for that I am grateful.
My sympathies to all that loved him.
All my love to you Mark.

To the Mark Silas Family,
It is with deep sadness that I heard about Mark's passing. I wish to pay my deep condolences to Mark's family. I knew and worked with Mark during my years as trustee for the Village of Morton Grove. Mark was always an outgoing individual, and was willing to help the community in way he could. He will be sorely missed. May his memory be a blessing to his family and friends forever.

Mark, you always had a smile and would never be in the area without coming up, saying hello and offering a hand shake. You were a great neighbor and a friend to all the guys at the fire house. As some would say, you left your mark! In other words, you will be missed. Thank you for being part of our life's.
