"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes: there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." - Revelation 21:4.

"Cast your cares upon the Lord..." - Psalm 55:22

Dearest Papou, Teddy, Nika, my beloved Kota-bear, Uncle Mimi, Michelle, my dear Staci and beautiful Georgette,

May we all be comforted knowing YiaYia is free of pain and "full of life" in heaven, watching over all of us - hopefully without worry (finally.) What a JOY and HONOR it is to celebrate such an amazing woman. She was indeed "One of a Kind!" Her love for family was fierce and unequaled while her speech was often unabashed and unapologetically honest. She was a mighty force in a petite package. She brought humor to most situations even when she wasn't trying.

I will miss our spirited political debates and her belief that I could still be a vegetarian AND enjoy meaty Greek dishes if I would "...just push the meat to the side." Not to mention her belief that South Park was appropriate viewing for a toddler because it was animated. Again... how I will miss that lady!

Not too long ago she gave me two of the best gifts ever... that of closure and forgiveness followed by a whisper in my ear that "...once you are part of the Xentaras family, you are always part of the Xentaras family." How blessed I am!!!

It is my earnest prayer each of you will also find peace in remembering the "little things," the everyday occurrences that made YiaYia who she was.

All my love and heartfelt condolences... wrapped in a warm embrace!
Brig
