George A. Stahl, 89, of Portland, Oregon, formerly of Wilmette and Evanston, beloved husband of the late Joan; loving father of  Annie (Gerry) Noorts, and Nick (Renee) Stahl; devoted step father of Deborah (Tom) McCollom, Lawrence (Paula) Teich, and Cheryl (Scottie) Arms; dear grandfather of Ryan (Amanda) Johnson, Matthew and Daniel Teich, Molly Uchtman, and Adeline, Elsa, and Jonas Stahl; cherished great grandfather of Valerie Johnson. Memorial service at St. Peter United Church of Christ 8013 Laramie Ave. Skokie, IL 60077 on Saturday, November 25th at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon at church memorial room to immediately follow.
