Annie and Family-- I was very moved at the services today. I learned even more reasons why your dad was such a wonderful person; besides the reasons I already knew. May your mom and dad live forever in your hearts. Love to you all.

A DIGNITY IN WHITE PEDESTAL ARRANGEMENT was ordered on November 18, 2017

George was such a kind neighbor and friend. We enjoyed stories with both Joan and George over the years. I always worried about him walking McTeague in the snow.
Everyone in the neighborhood wondered why he always wore sneakers instead of boots.
We brought him ice clips to wear with boots to no avail. This man was on the roof in his 80's blowing leaves off, raking his yard always working. To this day we look at the front door expecting to see McTeague waiting for his walk with our dogs. We had a lovely routine and we miss them. We send our Love to you all. Annie, So very sorry to hear about your father. Try not to be sad, but rather remember all the wonderful time that you shared together. The sadness stays for a while, but then the smiles will return each time you remember a happy time.
Love you,
Renée

Both George and Joan are very much in my memory as loving and special folks.
George was so talented with his beautiful woodworking, his way with lawns,
and his talent for telling jokes. He has left a wonderful legacy of children and grandchildren. I know he will be missed. Sending love and fond thoughts for all of you.
