Diane (Gambacorta) Brendza

Diane Ann Brendza, age 51, of Park Ridge, lost her courageous battle with cancer on August 18, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Rich; and extremely devoted mom of Matt, Chris, and Will; dear daughter of Italia and the late Gino Gambacorta and daughter in law of Michael and Carol Brendza; fond sister of Carol (Jim) Durham and John (Cathy) Gambacorta; she was a loved and cherished aunt to Colleen, Kyle, Jimmy, Elizabeth, Patrick, Victoria, Alexandra, and Elizabeth, and great aunt to Henry. Diane was born and raised in Wilmette, graduated from St. Joseph Grade School, Regina Dominican High School, and St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana.She was always happiest at home with her husband and boys. The memories she gave to her family will be cherished always. She was a quiet woman who was always there for her family and friends, and always gave selflessly of her time. Her family meant the world to her, and she will be greatly missed. Rest in peace sweet Diane, you will always be in our hearts.  Family and friends will meet at St. Paul of the Cross Church 320 S. Washington Ave. Park Ridge, IL 60068 on Saturday, August 25th for a funeral mass at 12:00 noon. Interment private.
