My condolences to the family of Dr. Wesley Yapor.Wesley was a grest person and surgeon he operated on my spine twice as a young man and was able to give me a career as a union carpenter to provide my family im 54 now.We sometimes take doctors for grated but without people like Wesley many lives would not be so great. Rest in peace God Bless.

To the family and friends of Dr. Wesley Yapor. In August of 2006, I had a tragic accident, by falling down a flight of stairs. I was rushed to the Northwestern Hospital and was attended to by Dr. Yapor. I was unconscious, and my girlfriend was told that due to the severity of a Subdural Hematoma, I was more than likely to die very soon. It was Dr. Yapor who saved my life. I was a 46 year old pilot for American Airlines at that time. It was through the grace of God, and the skill and decision making of this great surgeon that I am alive, and still flying. I gave thanks to this fine man afterward, and now I would like to pass my love and gratitude on to his family and friends. May God bless you Dr. Yapor, and please give solice to your family and friends to know how much you were loved and respected by others.

Dr. Yapor was a compassionate, kind and very competent physician. As an Internist, I referred most of my patients to Dr. Yapor who needed Neurosurgical consultation. The outcomes had been excellent and I was always pleased with his care. He cared greatly about his patients and his kindness and good manners were obvious to those who worked with him. I am shocked and saddened by the death of this gentle and great man and excellent doctor. I will remember him and know how much we lost at Resurrection upon his passing. May God bless him and the angels cover him with their wings. RIP, Dr. Yapor. Your new journey has begun. Dr. Bernadette Mayer, Internist at Presence/Resurrection Med. Center.

May your journey home be guided by god and his angels. May your family acknowledge he was admired truly not only as a surgeon that he was but, also by the human approach he had with not only his patients but a man who took much consideration on how to treat each one of us on a human level. Respect, consideration, thoughtfulness and kindness he offered to everyone. He operated on my lower back November 16, 2017. It was an honor to have him operate on me. I felt the comfort knowing he was doing my surgery. Before he operated on me. I took his hand and said." I know and trust that with god on your hands we will do just fine.". Till this day I am fine. God bless him and his familia. Rest In Peace my doctor, and thank you. Bendiciones !

I'm saddened, stunned, and still in shock at the passing of not only a great surgeon but one of the most humble, kind and compassionate people I've ever met. Dr. Yapor operated on me so many times we would often joke he knows me inside more than my wife. He just performed my last spine surgery over Christmas 2016 and I just saw him at our follow up appointment on 1/5/17. To his family, friends, coworkers and all who had the pleasure of knowing Wesley Yapor, I offer my deepest sympathies. RIP doctor Yapor. My heart aches with sadness.

I never had the pleasure to meet you but your life and character lives through your family. I have only met Danielle and although we haven't spoke in awhile I recognized her unique beauty both inside and out from the very first time I met her; I am sure this is due to the values you instilled within her. In July 2002, my mother had a brain aneurysm. It was a very scary moment for us all. Dr Wesley Yapor saved her life! No residual effects from her surgery. My condolences to the family.
