Prayers and Condolences to the entire Meehan Family. Your husband/father/grandfather/friend was such an important part of the St. Martha Parish. I remember him fondly at so many events and experiences in my childhood and teen years. Take comfort in the blessing of having such a wonderful person in your life who will continue to surround you with love now and in the future..

All that matters is that Christ is proclaimed. (Phil 1:18). Quite simply, I know Jesus because I knew Pete. Sincere condolences to the entire family.

Dear Peter and family,
Sending you my deepest sympathies. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful tribute to your dad, especially for those of us who didn't have the privilege to know him. It is clear to see the impact he made in the lives of so many and the joy with which he lived his life. Thinking of you and your family.

If you look up the word "gregarious" in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of Uncle Peter. The man was so friendly, warm, outgoing and full of life. He would light up a room with laughter and was beloved by everyone who encountered him. He was also a man of deep faith with an unending love for his family. He set an amazing example of how to live life to the fullest. Thanks Uncle Peter for showing us the way! My deepest condolences to Aunt Jo and all the Meehan family.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Meehan. I appreciate his kind and hood work. I recall sitting and talking with him while riding from the city to MG as a young adult. It was quite helpful to me in making sense of life - may your family experience peace during this difficult time and the future.

Dear Meehan family - Peter was a very special witness to God's call to service. We all need to reflect on his words and works and fill the void he leaves behind. I wish your family peace.

Our condolences to the Meehan Family. Peter baptized our granddaughter 4 years ago.
When we lived in Morton Grove, we worked in putting various liturgical seasons together. He cared much about family life. He will be missed. I am sure the lord is looking down on him saying. You have carried out my word, GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT

Dear Meehan Family... I worked at Sargent & Lundy for 23 years, including the years that I was studying to be a Deacon. Pete was a generous, and faith-filled mentor to me and we enjoyed being 'comrades-in-arms." It's not easy being a Deacon in the workplace, but Pete paved the way for me, and I learned a lot from his example. The Lord has welcomed him with the words "Well done, good and faithful servant!" May the peace and comfort that Jesus promises to all of us be all yours.
