Gene C. (Connell) Mitchell

Gene C. Mitchell, formerly of Morton Grove, and a long standing member of St. Martha Church, Gene was a life long employee of the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board. She passed away peacefully the evening of May 23, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late William; loving stepmother of Sue Knutsen; dear sister of Marcia Biehn, William Connell, and the late Faye Christiansen. Family and friends will meet at St. Martha Church 8523 Georgiana Ave. Morton Grove, IL 60053 on Tuesday, May 30th for a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass. Entombment Memorial Park Cemetery. (847) 965-2500
